Château de Camarsac Cuvée Prince Noir

Château de Camarsac Cuvée Prince Noir

AOP Bordeaux Supérieur

Château de Camarsac Cuvée Prince Noir2017, 750 ml

Thierry Lurton's objective in taking the reins at Château de Camarsac has been to combine the strength of its history with the people and the terroir. Located between Bordeaux and Saint Emilion, in the heart of Entre-Deux-Mers, the
Château de Camarsac fortress, erected on a hill and surrounded by its vineyards, is one of the most amazing sights and one of the most enchanting of Bordeaux vines. It owes its nickname Black Prince Castle to the famous Prince of Wales. Lucien Lurton, owner of Brane-Cantenac and other famous Château, bought Camarsac in 1973, reviving its vineyards in Entre-Deux-Mers. Since 2007, his son, Thierry Lurton has enthusiastically taken up the reins of the property. The name of this celebrated cuvée, the Prince Noir, is closely linked to the history of Château de Camarsac. Generous, supple and fruity with an elegant finish, this wine is very seductive. A subtle balance between traditional style and modernity.
Blending Merlot: Cabernet 90%, Sauvignon 10%.
Wine making: The primary objective in making the Cuvée Prince Noir is to offer a fruity wine with light tannins that is very accessible.
Food pairings: This is an easygoing wine that has been made to be a flexible accompaniment to any type of meal. It really is a wine for a banquet, for a barbecue, for a drink with friends, or a cocktail reception with a range of dishes.
